The leather used is a high quality oiled leather, a little care will ensure your items remains looking and smelling good for years to come.

Use a stiff brush to remove dust and dirt, once dry apply a leather Saddle oil or Neats foot oil,  less is more when applying the oil so go easy the leather will darken whilst the oil is absorbed but with use the pouch will pick up its own patina with a vintage distressed finish. 

If your new cartridge pouch gets wet then allow to dry naturally then apply leather oil to prevent the leather stiffening, the inside can be brushed with a sturdy shoe brush.
