Orders are added to our order book as they come in, I try and maintain a stock of items so dispatch will be between 1-10 days depending on the item being in stock if not then one will be made to your chosen specification. You will receive a confirmation email once order is placed this will give you a timeframe for your order.
The run up to Christmas is our busiest time so please order in plenty of time as generally from October our order book triples!!!
All our products are handmade here in Blighty! Every item is hand cut from leather hides using handmade patterns, we don't have any type of industrial cutting machines or hydraulic presses its all done the old fashioned way, each product is crafted individually from the best leather we can source, if we say its leather then it is and not vinyl or cheap split leather.
The pictures and descriptions including prices may change at any time without any prior notice, we may also have to withdraw products without notice if they become out of stock or if any of the materials used are not available.
Buying from us
We accept all major debit and credit cards at checkout and can also process card payments over the phone during office hours. You can also pay via pay pal express if you have a pay pal account. All payments are processed in British Pounds GBP any overseas transactions will be converted via pay pal at the relevant exchange rate dependant on country.
Credit card security
When you purchase from us all our payments are taken via a secure payment gateway so we don't see or store any of your credit card/ debit card details on our system.
All our prices are currently not subject to European Sales Tax (VAT) as we are not VAT registered yet!
If we are unable to fulfil your order for any reason we will cancel/refund and inform you via email/telephone. we also reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our own discretion.
We offer various postage options for UK and International destinations please give allowances for Bank Holidays and the Christmas delivery period as these times can cause delays so please order early, last Christmas dispatch date is 15th December 2015.
Free UK shipping this is a Royal Mail 2nd class option and usually takes 2-4 days.
Upgrade option via Royal Mail 1st class tracked and will usually take 1-3 days please allow for longer during holiday periods and Bank Holidays.
EU, Norway & Switzerland
Royal Mail International Signature service, tracking details will be provided and signature will be required upon receipt.
Royal Mail International Signature Service Airmail, tracking details will be provided and signature required upon receipt.
Overseas orders may attract Import duty tax and/or local sales tax if so you will need to pay this to your relevant countries import agency, all countries have their own rules and this is determined by your relevant location, please check your own Countries laws and duties as we are not liable for these charges.
If for any reason you are not happy with your items then please contact us via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 0800 084 2810 within 30 days from receipt of goods. If we cannot rectify the problem then we will require you to return the item to us via a tracked or signed service to ensure we receive the item, once the item has been received and checked we will forward a full refund via the original payment source used on purchase this can take up to 48hrs but full email confirmation will be sent.
Please return the goods with original packing and labels in a unused condition.
Hornstone has a no quibble returns policy so even if you have had initials added to a product then we will still honour the returns terms above.
All our products are covered by a twelve month warranty for failing of any part, this does not include scuffs and scrapes to leather as this is a characteristic of leather. Any stitching, rivets is covered for general wear and tear however please follow the guidelines on the carrying capacity given in the product description. We are a small family business and aim to have happy customers so please contact us if you have any issues so that we can rectify.
