Proudly handmade by Hornstone in the UK, this robust leather belt is crafted specifically to complement our signature "Old Brown" range of cartridge pouches. Built using a heavy-duty twin-ply construction, it features an antique brass-effect buckle, two fixed keepers, and a versatile sliding keeper complete with a integrated "D" ring attachment for securing clips or field essentials.
 Engineered with a 9-hole adjustment, it offers maximum versatility giving you the flexibility to comfortably wear it over heavy cold-weather jackets or tighten it for lightweight summer attire. 
This premium belt provides a perfect aesthetic match for any of our Old Brown leather pouches. While engineered to be slightly lighter and more supple than our traditional bridle belts, it remains exceptionally rugged. Thanks to the high natural oil content of the hide, this leather thrives in all weather conditions while developing a beautiful, authentic worn-in character over time.

This leather has a very natural finish and has not been corrected in any way, this gives a very rugged appearance, with age and use your new belt will lighten and pick up more of a distressed appearance, any marks or variations are part of the leather.

Your new belt will be given a coating of leather oil before it leaves the workshop this ensures it is ready for all weathers out of the box, with use the leather will lighten to a rich vintage distressed finish.

Maintenance

This leather will need some basic up keep to ensures it lasts for many years to come,

Apply a good quality leather oil like Effax leather oil or a Neats foot oil, apply a very light coating and allow the leather to absorb the oil, this will darken the surface but with use the patina will return,

A  good brush with a horse hair brush or similar will remove any dry mud before applying a leather oil or cream.
